VI. Industry: Veggie Cheese

A dry evening sliced like a paper cut,
fitted with modified cornstarch and soy protein.
A pale mouth of aspartame sprinkles.

My mouth twitches, engorged.
A yellow industrial aftertaste
sieved through the cracks between my teeth.
