Jean-Michel Buche was born in 1952 and lives in France. Since 1980 he has been chairman of the board of his own advertising company, Z Group. One morning in 2007, Buche woke up feeling different – he had become little more than his job, his wife, and his children. He decided that day that nothing would ever be the same again, and that he would attempt to live the opposite kind of life than that he’d always lived. For thirty years he had worked to create sophisticated pictures for advertising campaigns, and he wanted instead to create basic and natural pieces.
