Rose Mary Pillowwater
Born George Myers, evolved into Amy George, reborn as Rose Mary Pillowwater, the author’s transformation from male-to-female took place during 11 years of monastic solitude; 4 of them bedridden, without a fixed identity, and deluged with visions. In 2004, George & Amy quit believing they were magically becoming RMP and thence began HRT (hormone replacement therapy). Like a zygote to an embryo to a fetus, Rose Mary wove herself into being through a womb of dreams and solitude. Iboga gave the final push on 10/14/10. Out popped Rose Mary Pillowwater, Queen of Heaven. Ms. Pillowwater is a regular contributor to Reality Sandwich. Her blogs include Ask the Dream Queen and Come Skinnydipping with Me.
