David Irvine studied illustration at Sheridan College in Brampton, Ontario Canada. After graduation in ‘91 he has worked as a self-employed illustrator and fine artist. He also taught fine art evening classes to both adults and children. Always looking for unconventional avenues to express his creativity, he paints on discarded and unplayable vinyl records, makes quirky beercap pins and magnets, paints wooden furniture, uses jar lids to make handpainted ‘brooches’ as well as works on canvas and paper. His work has been collected from all parts of the world and a book of his drawings and paintings featuring a “Monster” theme has been recently published.
