The Bee-Loud Glade

by Jill D 03.01.2011

The Bee-Loud Glade Fringe contributor Steve Himmer’s first novel, The Bee-Loud Glade, will be released on April 4. The book is a “postmodern pastoral about the nature of nature and the nature of work, and the limits of solitude in a networked world.”

In it, blogger Finch quits his job and becomes a “hermit for hire,” meaning a quirky rich man pays him to sit and look…well, normally I would say pretty, but here I’m going to go with “contemplative.” Finch’s avatar explains it better than I could in his own movie–watch it here.

The Bee-Loud Glade is available for pre-order from Atticus Books. See for yourself what all the BUZZ is about. (See what I did there?)
